The Friday Files TTRPG
It's been a while since I run a campaign that I truly enjoyed. The urge never left me actually. No matter what shape or form my life takes, no matter what persona I wear to my office or the superficial social gatherings I am occasionally obligated to attend to, there is still this voice deep inside me, beckoning to me.
It's an entire world slowly building up behind the scenes for the best part of the last 20 years, begging to be born, and I decide to answer its call.
So, here are the Friday Files. Why Friday? For a good number of reasons, Friday has always been my "mystery day". If and how this has any impact to the lore of the world remains to be seen and is not important right now.
The sole purpose of the Friday Files is to create a collection of rules, gameplay ideas and lore that will enable anyone to have a fun adventure with their friends, in the modern world. The type of adventure that takes an everyday person and slowly reintroduces magic in their lives until they touch the borders of myth and legend - and maybe, even surpass them. The experience should be fun every minute of the way, your decisions should matter, your rewards should feel earned, the danger should feel real, and it should be absolutely be worth your time, whether you can dedicate on evening per month or multiple sessions per week.
